Josh only has a few more weeks to go before he leaves primary school. Seems incredible that he is ready for secondary school - but he is - he has his two days of induction next week!
So, I have been all organised and sorted out the choccy bars for his friends. And - it was so quick I almost feel guilty! ALMOST!
So - a nice little step-by-step!.....yes - it is tongue in cheek!
Step One - go to Tesco and find the best deal you can on 30 choc bars - CLUBs won the day for me - pack of 24 - half price - Two packs for under £4....and plenty left over!
Step Two - remove the wrappers, measure and make replacements! This is actually really easy - I used inkscape to pre-colour the image that Josh chose, then pasted it into word to do the actual covers. I find it easier to get these done in word - not sure why really as I use inkscape for just about everything else!
Step Three....print, cut out and replace the wrappers - glue stick does a great job and is cheaper than my double sided runner thingy.
Step Four - take the beauty shot! Lol! These took about 15 mins to get them all re-wrapped again - an absolute breeze!
Step Five - errrr, there isnt one - thats it! Oh no, hang on - STEP FIVE!>.... make sure you remember to give them to your child on the right day and that he remembers to give them out! Sounds daft, but last summer we made lots of sweetie bags and he forgot to hand them out!
Well, thanks for popping over - hope you are having the lovely weather we are today!
