Aud Sentiments - Anything Goes!!

How exciting - we are having a DT call over at AudSentiments!  YAY!  Its a great team and Aud is a brilliant "Boss" - she gets things planned way in advance and is so easy going!

So - if you want to join in with us, you need to enter this latest challenge - which is "anything goes" and put DT behind your name when you link up - easy!

This time around we have Karber Stamps as our sponsor. They have the most adorable images! If you haven't been to their site you should really go and take a look around!

Here is a little bit about them...

"Karber is a company created by Karla Barradas and Berenice Rendon. All began for passion to art and crafts, as friends we decided to join our different talents. In July 2010 that journey would lead us from hobby to a business and "Karber Digital Images" was created. We look forward to inspiring your creativity with digital images."

They are giving the winner 2 digis of their choice! Thanks so much!

We were all really lucky to be given this image to work with!  Initially, I had no idea how I would play with it!  Then I coloured it....oh boy - loved how it came out!  I just thought it looked so quirky!  And then I knew exactly what I would do with it...I have spotted this little post-it holder elsewhere (sorry cant remember where!) and just knew I would love to use this image for one!

Errhhhhmmmm - you might notice I didnt have the right colour post-its - mmmmmmm - so I just cut a piece of the background paper and used that on top - I am going to hand write my sentiment onto it when I decide where its going.....or even IF its going!  Think this might look quite nice on my desk at work!

Please do join in our challenge and DT call - I love coming and seeing all your creations.

Aud Sentiments - Any Sentiment and DT CALL!

First the bad news ..... hey, I always prefer the bad news first - then I can have fun with the good news!.... Wendy is leaving the design team over at Aud Sentiments.  I have to say that I have learnt alot by looking at Wendy's work - she has been an inspiration to us all!

SO.... we are looking for 2 new design team members. If you are interested please put DT next to your entry to this challenge. The call will be open until Tuesday, August 31 and we will announce our choices on Thursday, September 2 with the new challenge. The term will run until the end of December. You will be required to make a project for each fortnightly challenge, to comment on the entries, and help in selecting the winners. Its such a lovely team - and Aud organises things brilliantly - I would apply all over again!

Don't forget there is still time to enter our new monthly drawing. The link is here. You are still eligible to win even if you are applying to be on the DT because your term will not start until after this drawing is over.

OK, now onto the challenge...

We are so so lucky to be sponsored by 2 Cute Rubber Stamps . They are giving the winner a free rubber stamp or 2 digi stamps! Thanks so much! If you haven't had a chance to work with their images go and check them out because they are so much fun! here is a little something about them...

"2 Cute Rubber Stamps are cute and whimsical stamps that are offered as both digital and cling cushion. I decided to create a rubber stamp business to have an outlet for all my illustrations where others can enjoy! The BEST thing about 2 cute rubber stamps is that YOU can get involved in the creative process by voting on my sketches and being able to post ideas of what you would like to see as a stamp."

This time around the sentiment is... ANYTHING GOES! This will work out so perfectly to for the DT call because you can showcase all your favorite things to do! Enter as many times as you would like and if you are applying for a spot on the team make sure that each entry has DT next to it.

OK, now onto the challenge...I have honestly never tried anything like this before!  I hate the idea of scrunching up a bit of paper and making it messy!  But just had to do it for this image!  I know what my son and I look like after we have been down the yard so it just seemed right!

So - if you would like to join in the fun... ride on over to  Aud Sentiments  and link up your entry - suspect it will be a busy challenge!  Two more things - dont forget, if you want to enter the team call (oh go on, it will be such a blast!) then add DT after your entry and finally (!!!!!) dont forget the candy!!!

thanks for popping by

AudSentiments - Its your day.....

I love love love this image!  I made this card for my brother who is a hairdresser and LOVES blue rinses - NOT!  He is actually a fine hairdresser who manages the Toni and Guy in Canary Wharf and has done tv work and famous people - so in fact, does very few blue rinses!

Oh hark at me babbling and showing off about my big bro!

Over at Audsentiments our latest challenge is ITS YOUR DAY..... and  you get to finish it how you want!   I loved this challenge and just leapt in as soon as I knew about it!  I have to confess that the original sentiment inside was gonna be a little more crass - but my mum was going to be at the table when he opened his card, sooooooo.  LOLx

We have the fantabulousy Bugaboo stamps sponsoring this challenge!

I know for a fact that we are going to get huge entries into this challenge because.........

Hmmmm hmmmm *nodding head sagely* - oh yes....7, seven, sept, seiben (getting a little dodgy now!!!) oooo VII - ok, you get the idea - they dont just do the ones of the grumpy people - although I love these - check out their website and also the other DT member's creations.  Just got to do a quick shout-out to Wendy who has joined the team for her first creation this challenge - and, oh my word, what a creation!!!!

OK - gotta go to work in a mo - in case you dont know, I work in libraries - and I have to go and "monitor" one of our big branches this morning - please dont let there be any out of date posters!!!!!!!  I HATE out of date posters - its really not hard to remove out of date posters!!!  LOL

Ooooo and I just saw that Passion for Promarkers have a challenge up - ANYTHING GOES - well - this qualifies for that one I guess.  The only constraint is that the image must have been coloured with promarkers - check! Think I might put a couple of entries into this challenge actually!

Thanks for looking
